How to Introduce Alphabets to Toddler

These are some good and simple steps to introduce alphabets to toddler;

1.  Make sure that you have toys or cardboard in the form of alphabets, the size is up to you. You can make it by yourself from the milk boxes or anything.

2. Try to introduce the alphabet as a character instead of mention it one by one. For example, you can start it by saying it like this; "C'mon, look at this, we're gonna have new friend, the first one has a name "A", A has three straight lines, etc.
3. While introducing the alphabet, let the children to touch and feel the form and the shape of the letters.
4. After that, you can try to spell and mention the alphabet. Start from your self then let our child to repeat after us. Do this 5 - 10 times. Don't forget to keep showing the letter
4. After you finish it, continue to the next letter. Do this until 3-5 letters in one day. Repeat it, If the child already know and memorize about the letter well, you can go to the next 3 - 5 letter.
5. If your children have memorized all the alphabets, you can play games like "Find the treasure". You can put the letters together or put it on secret places, then you ask the children to pick the right letters you mentioned.
